Admission Guidelines

Eligibility

  1. Individuals who have completed 12 years of formal education or an equivalent curriculum.
  2. Individuals who are 18 years old or older.
  3. Individuals who have passed the written and interview examinations conducted by the university in the suburbs.
  4. For the 2-year preparatory course: individuals who have studied Japanese for at least 150 hours and have Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N5 or higher.
    For the 1.5-year preparatory course: individuals who have studied Japanese for at least 300 hours and have Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N4 or higher.
  5. Individuals who possess the health and physical strength necessary to complete the chosen course of study.
  6. Individuals who have sufficient financial resources to cover their education and living expenses.
  7. Individuals who have a reliable guarantor.
  8. Individuals who have graduated from their last educational institution within the past 5 years.
  9. Individuals who are allowed to enter Japan through proper procedures or are expected to be granted entry.

入学までの流れ

Application Process

  • Send the required application documents to our language institute school via email.
  • Admission examination (written test and interview).
  • Submit required documents (by mail to our language institute school).
  • Examination by the Immigration Bureau of Japan.
  • Announcement of examination results.
  • Payment of tuition and other fees.
  • Issuance of Certificate of Eligibility and Admission Permit.
  • Visa issuance at the nearest Japanese embassy or consulate.
  • Enrollment.

STEP1 Application August to October of the previous year
STEP2 Entrance Examination (Interview and Test) August to October of the previous year
STEP3 Submission of required Documents September to October of the previous year
STEP4 Issuance of Certificate of Eligibility Late February
STEP5 Payment of Tuition Fees Early March
STEP6 Visa Application (Japanese Consulate) Early March
STEP7 Enrollment Early April

3 Statement of Purpose for Studying Abroad To be completed by the applicant. Use institute’s prescribed form. The statement should be as specific as possible.
4 Pledge Use institute’s prescribed form.
5 Health Condition Declaration Use institute’s prescribed form.
6 Copy of Final Academic Transcript Copy of the certificate of graduation from the last academic institution.
7 Original Academic Transcript Original transcript from the final academic institution.
8 Copy of Passport Copy all pages with information.
9 Proof of Enrollment Certificate of current enrollment.
10 Academic Achievement Transcript Transcript showing academic performance.
11 Employment Certificate
(for those with work experience)
Must include job title, employment period, issuer, and issue date.
12 Proof of Japanese Language Study If you have passed any level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, submit the certificate and original score report.

Documents Required for Financial Supporter

1 Financial Support Form Use the institute’s prescribed form.
2 Family Register Submit family registers of both the applicant and the financial supporter.
3 Original Bank Balance Certificate Proof of funds equivalent to tuition and living expenses during study.
4 Documents and Explanations on Asset Formation Include bank statements and copies of account books for the past 3 years.
5 Employment Certificate of Financial Supporter If self-employed, include a copy of the business license.
6 Tax Payment Certificate of Financial Supporter

Refund Policy:

  1. After the issuance of the Certificate of Eligibility and payment of tuition fees to the institute.
    (1) If you cancel your study plans.
    (2) If the local visa is not granted.
    A refund will be provided excluding the admission examination fee and admission fee.
  2. The applicant is responsible for the bank transfer fees associated with refunds.
    Note: Refunds will only be processed after returning the Certificate of Eligibility and Admission Permit to the university. Refunds of tuition fees after enrollment are generally not provided.
